Artificial Intelligence - What is True and What is Propaganda ?

It is essentially the progress of Computer Science with the addition of robots.  The rest ?  Well, propaganda.

January 5, 2026

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, has already been a subject noted in the past.   What is the “new wave” of interest regarding this topic and what does it mean ?

The current uprising of the topic AI is mostly generational.  We have already dealt with the phrase “Artificial Intelligence” in the past which dates back before the turn of the milennium.  We know it is an attempt to progress some combination of computers with robots.  That is nothing new.  It is essentially the progress of Computer Science with the addition of robots.  The rest ?  Well, propaganda.

Automation has reduced or eliminated undesirable labor in the workplace and home, but how far does it go ?  Automation has already developed to the point where it is undesirable to substitute it completely for humans.  In many cases, automation has been uninstalled and robotics disabled in favor of the human worker.  The robots have already done enough.  They are not always wanted.  What are they really for ?

.. their place is considered other -worldly.  That is, they have much more purpose on another planet.

It is easily recognized that the need for robots on Earth are rather limited.  In fact, their place is considered other-worldly.  That is, they have much more purpose on another planet.

The other planets and moons that Earth men are soon planning to venture to have either harsh atmospheres or no atmospheres. This makes it not so simple to occupy these other planets and moons.  However, Artificial Intelligence in the form of advanced robots can be deployed to build the structures and shelters so man can later inhabit them.  Robots don’t need to wear spacesuits and are much more dexterous and mobile than a human donning a spacesuit.  All the missions planned from Earth from here-on-out will lie somewhere beyond our protective magnetosphere, the magnetic field surroundings our planet known for compass navigation - but serves yet another very important purpose - to protect against the constant bombardment of galactic cosmic rays (GCRs).  The type of spacesuit used on the International Space Station will not be sufficient for even the nearest trip to the Moon.  It will need heavy shielding to protect against GCRs, and such a spacesuit doesn’t really exist - it is considered impractical.  Open structures are needed to provide artificial magnetic fields for protection before man can safely occupy the Moon and Mars.  This is where the robots come in.

Dexterous-mobile robots can construct shelters and facilities much more efficiently than a human wearing a clumsy spacesuit.  They are deployed in teams of various sorts, from wheeled-tractor types, to mobile cranes and humanoid servants.  The robots can be controlled, managed, and monitored from an orbiting space station, such as a lunar space station, one currently known as Gateway.
